Host a Business After Hours at your place of business to bring people through your doors. Celebrating an opening, purchasing a new major piece of equipment, celebrating an anniversary? Hold a ribbon cutting! The Chamber will be happy to assist you with this and promote it for you, one more way to get people and potential customers through your door!
Business After Hours
Opportunities to meet business colleagues, discuss pertinent business issues, and exchange business cards with prospective customers. Monthly After Hours mixers held at different member locations to facilitate networking and showcase the host business. Chamber Ambassadors attend events to introduce you to members. Look for their burgundy ribbon and don't hesitate to ask them to introduce you around if there is someone in particular you would like to meet. New members are designated by a yellow ribbon, be sure to say hello!
Business Card/Promotional Flyer Racks
There are several business card and promotional racks in The Chamber's office, used for referral purposes and general business and relocation requests.
Membership Directory/Business Resource Guide
Members are included in this "Go To" publication, distributed to members and relocation requests. It is also emailed as a PDF on a monthly basis and is included on our website, promoting your business to everyone who visits the site. Members are listed alphabetically and by category.
The Chamber Newsletter
The "Notable Quotable", Member News, and Member Spotlight are specific sections that promote you. This publication is directly mailed to members and local officials, posted on our website, and distributed through various mailings. Members are encouraged to submit information and articles.
Newsletter Inserts
Members receive one complimentary insert in The Chamber newsletter! As informational pieces on your business, they are a cost-effective method of promotion. Members circulate them to their employees and use them as business leads.
"The Chamber Connection" Radio Show
Through a partnership with WVTL 1570AM and Bob Cudmore, The Chamber has a monthly radio show to discuss business, issues, and our members. Members are invited to participate as guests.
Recognition Events
Special events to put the spotlight on our business community. All sponsorships include high visibility and prominent promotion. Events include the Annual Meeting and Awards Dinner, Tourism Award Dinner and Employee of the Year event.
Referrals
Thousands of people contact The Chamber on a regular basis via email and phone, looking for information. If you are a member, you are referred.
