Common Goods holds Ribbon Cutting Celebration

The Montgomery County Chamber of Commerce and Proprietor Frank Pullen recently held a Ribbon Cutting Celebration for his new business, Common Goods, located at 23 Main Street, Route 30A, in Fultonville.

Common Goods is located in an old general store in Fultonville and is like the traditional “five and dime” stores of the past.  This second hand store sells everything from furniture, collectibles, clothing, toys, housewares, antiques, sporting goods, and musical instruments.

“We buy merchandise daily so you never know what you’ll find when you stop in,” states Frank Pullen, owner.  He added, “I always wanted to start my own business and it was the right time” after returning to Fultonville having lived in Oregon and Brooklyn.  To buy, sell, or trade you may contact Frank or Sandra at 853-3171.

“Other business professionals networked and socialized in the store’s charming atmosphere among its many treasures,” states Gina DaBiere-Gibbs, Membership Assistant.  “I encourage the community to stop into Common Goods for not only a rare find, but for everyday items you may need.  You truly will be surprised with the assortment of merchandise available at Common Goods.”

Proprietor, Frank Pullen of Common Goods, center, cuts the ribbon at his Grand Opening Celebration. From l to r: Charles Schwartz, Chairman of the Board, Carol Shineman, NBT Bank, Patty Laux, Chamber Ambassador, Frank Pullen, Sandra Pullen, wife with daughter Sophia, John Lesniewski, Board Member.
