The evening will feature multimedia presentations of the restoration efforts to the Broodmare Barn, a 192 foot long, 3 story structure contructed in the 1870's by carpet manufacturing mogul Stephen Sanford. The buildiing was one of more than 40 that made up the 1000-plus acre "Hurricana Stock Farm", later named Sandford Stud Farm. The Friends and the Town of Amsterdam have expended over $170,000 on the project to date, focusing on the structural integrity of the building. The next phase will be much more visible.

Yoga for Everyone is a gentle approach for creating balance and harmony in the body, mind and spirit. The fundamental principles of alignments, breath work and relaxation will be learned.
