Old Fort Johnson National Historic Landmark is pleased to announce a “Christmas in July” CD release party for Liaisons Plaisantes, the 18th century period musicians quintet, on Saturday, July 24th from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. This candlelight evening program will feature a live performance by Liaison Plaisantes of the 18th century holiday music on their first ever CD entitled “A Plaisantes Christmas”.
Old Fort Johnson is privately owned by the Montgomery County Historical Society, a local, not-for-profit organization formed 106 years ago. It is located right off of Route 5 at the intersection of Route 67 in the village of Fort Johnson, one mile west of Amsterdam, just a short distance from Thruway Exit 27.
