Connect with The Chamber
The Chamber is the place to connect! Each month, The Chamber gives its members many opportunities to network, meet new people and catch up with old friends. Promote your business face-to-face with local business leaders and government officials.
While many members view the Business After Hours as the networking opportunity, don't forget about Business Breakfasts as well. Typically when attending a breakfast or dinner you will be sitting with people you may not know, what better way to network on a more personal scale!
Don't forget to always have your business card handy and to wear your name badge at events!
Business After Hours (BAH)
Let the business community come to you. Hosting a BAH showcases your business and is an easy way to make new contacts in the business community. Exclusively for members, many businesses enjoy attending a BAH for the food, friends and opportunity to reach out to fellow members.
Committees get you directly involved in the future of The Chamber and the county. Make a difference in Ag, Legislative Affairs, Membership/Events, Scholarship, Tech Valley, T.I.L.T., Tourism, and W.O.W. (Women of Worth) committees. Not only do these committees make vital decisions on Chamber initiatives and policy, but they are also a unified voice, strongly representing each of their respective interests. T.I.L.T. and the recently formed W.O.W. both hold their own special events, including clean-up day, mixers, and fishbowl luncheons.
Breakfasts and Luncheons
Our members get first notification of Breakfasts and Luncheons hosted by The Chamber, including the annual Supervisors' Breakfast and Superintendents' Breakfast. We also hold many events open only for our members including Business After Hours, our Tourism Dinner and the Staff Appreciation and Employee of the Year Luncheon. Our members also get discounts on reservation costs for Chamber sponsored events and many other community events.
The Chamber also has several Partnerships that promote the area. The Tech Valley Chamber Coalition, Canalfest and Agritourism initiatives promote not only our county, but have influence in larger regions of New York State.
